The Eagles have lost one of their main ball carriers in LeGarrette Blount. He recently signed a one-year $2 million-dollar contract with the Detroit Lions.

Blount was a big contributor to the Eagles’ success this year; he had a particularly nice playoff run (three postseason touchdowns, include one in the Super Bowl). His presence as the Eagles’ go-to power back will be missed (he averaged 4.4 yards per carry in 2017).

Moving forward, it will be interesting to see if the Eagles add another running back to make up for Blount’s absence or stick to a two-man rotation of Jay Ajayi and Corey Clement.
