The Eagles’ defensive line room will look a bit different next year. It sounds too good to be true, but the d-line is shaping up to be even more talented than it was in 2017.

The Eagles lost both Beau Allen and Vinny Curry to Tampa Bay, but gained Michael Bennett from Seattle and Haloti Ngata from Detroit.

At 32 years old, Bennett was still very productive for the Seahawks last year, compiling 8.5 sacks during the regular season.  Ngata is 34 years old and missed most of last season with a torn bicep, but when healthy, he is a great run-stuffer. If you remember his dominant days in Baltimore, he always commanded a double-team and gave linebackers one less blocker to worry about.

Given the depth at d-line and how often the Eagles rotate linemen, expect Bennett and Ngata to be fresh every game and contribute to what should be another year of the Eagles dominating the trenches.
