It's official. Eagles quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo accepted the offensive coordinator position for the Minnesota Vikings.
We heard all year long about how good the Eagles' quarterback room was, and DeFilippo certainly deserves some credit for that (along with helping Carson Wentz take a huge leap in his Sophomore season).
Most importantly, he deserves praise (along with Doug Pederson and offensive coordinator, Frank Reich) for setting Nick Foles up for a successful playoff campaign.
However, unless you are with the team every day, it's hard to assign the appropriate amount of credit for the team's successful quarterback play this year. You can make valid cases for Pederson, Reich and DeFilippo respectively. I guess time will tell if (and by how much) DeFilippo impacted the Eagles play this past season.
