The Eagles are a mere 13 days away from officially starting their 2018 campaign.

Yesterday, the NFL released the off-season training schedule for all 32 teams. The breakdown for the Eagles is below:

  • First Day: April 16 (day #1 of two weeks of strength & conditioning workouts)
  • OTAs (Organized Team Activities): May 22-24, May 29, May 31, June 1, June 4-5, June 7-8
  • Mandatory Minicamp: June 12-14

Though the strength & conditioning workouts and OTAs are “voluntary”, we all know that hold-out rumors will swirl around any players not in attendance, especially for those who are seeking new contracts (we’re lookin’ at you, Brandon Graham). Attendance (or lack thereof) will definitely be something to keep an eye on.

Additionally, the OTAs and Minicamp will be a good time to learn more about some young players that we didn’t get to see much of last season as well as players that are primed to take a big leap next year (e.g. Sidney Jones & Mack Hollins, among others).

Stay tuned for updates as OTAs get underway…
