Eagles Reward Foles with New Contract

The Super Bowl MVP is getting a raise.
As first reported by Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the Eagles rewarded Nick Foles with a new contract that includes a $2 million raise for the 2018 season.
The contract also includes several million dollars’ worth of incentives, which Foles could cash in on if he ends up playing a significant amount of time next season (fingers crossed that won’t be the case).
The deal also has a mutual 2019 option should Foles end up staying with the team beyond 2018.
This feels like a win-win for both parties and is a nice way for the team to thank Foles for his incredible playoff/Super Bowl performance.
